Patak's is a British brand that sells Indian-style curry pastes, sauces, and spices. Established in 1957 by Shanta Pathak and Lakshmishankar Pathak, a couple of Gujarati-British entrepreneurs who arrived in Britain as refugees from Kenya with their family, the company was bought by Associated British Foods in May 2007 for £200 million.
